Meeting of Steering Group of Garda North City Division New Communities Forum
The next meeting of the Steering Group will be at Store Street Garda Station at 2.00pm on Wednesday 28th October. The agenda will be as follows:
1. Feedback from discussion on 12th October meting
2. Agenda for Community Policing Forum seminar at Bettystown on 6th and 7th November
3. Formalising of Steering Group membership and formal roles for individuals
It was agreed that the medium to longer term objective of the Steering Group is to ensure that local residents from minority ethnic backgrounds feel confident to engage with their Irish neighbours in the local Community Policing Fora in their own locality.
