Study in Poland – Open Day

Study in Poland Open Day took place at the Embassy of Poland on 29th November 2014. The event promoting studying in Poland at the higher education level, served to present Polish universities, including medical programmes. Visitors could win great prizes including a stay in Bydgoszcz, Poland where Nicolaus Copernicus University’s Collegium Medicum is based.

The organisers: Embassy of the Republic of Poland, Polish National Tourist Office and MedicalPoland.ie representing Polish universities in Ireland convinced that studying in Poland can’t be easier inter alia due to realistic entry requirements (no LC points required for some programmes) and high quality education as well as picturesque places in Poland.

Mr Artur Banaszkiewicz noted that an increasing number of Irish students chooses to study in Poland: Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry and other programmes.

Polish National Tourist Office’s brochures and materials and information on Poland was available as well as information on studying in Poland provided by Ministry of Science and Higher Education:
– over 400 universities – Poland has the largest number of higher education institutions in Poland
– diplomas recognized not only Europe-wide but also in most countries of the world
– costs of living are a fraction of what a foreign student would have to spend in other European cities (EUR 250 per month on average).
