Barka Ireland primarily works with Eastern and Central European migrants in Dublin who are in social and economic difficulties. We work with people on individual basis trying to find best option for them to prevent them from becoming homeless, or to move out of dependency on homeless services. Our services are free of charge.
We provide advice and assistance with
• Reconnection to your family or community in your home country
• Obtaining travel documents
• Providing information regarding homeless, welfare, information and legal aid services in Dublin
• Assessing your social welfare entitlements
• Looking for legal employment
• Admission to detox and addiction therapies in Ireland and your home country
• Visiting prisoners
